Good day All,

I have a lot of external links, all of which can be simply updated by:
Edit >> Links >> Select All >> Update >> Close
However I would like to automate this process. Can't really record a simple macro because it hardcodes the links and they are changed each day. Is there any way to perform the above every 5 minutes (or so) automatically?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Do you mean --

Tools | Options | Calculation tab

check Update remote references
check Save external link values

Those are already checked.

Right now if someone else with network access updates a workbook and saves it, from a workbook that I am pulling informtion from, the data in my workbook will not update until I go to Edit >> Links >> Select All >> Update Values. What I want to do automatically update these links so as soon as new information is added to a linked workbook and it is saved, it is displayed in the destination workbook.
