Automatically update month in header

I am trying to figure out how to to a formula in an excel header that will automatically update the month each time I create a new report. It already has the &[Date} option which updates the date. Is there a function that allows the month only??? I tried &[month] and that did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

=MONTH(NOW())

Sorry. I thought that would work. We need to write a script to do that.
What exactly do you want in the header.
I see Crime Stats and a lot more.

Oh OK! I work for a police department, hence the crime stats =), here is what I am trying to get in the header but the part where the month is to update automatically.

GRANTS PASS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY - POLICE
CRIME STATS OCTOBER YTD (2015-2020)
