Ok, so I have a WB template that my work provided with an AutoSave feature on it. I'm currently not allowed to modify the template and I am trying to combine my macros with that template. What I'm trying to do is create 1 macro that opens the WB and then runs a series of other Macros to complete an entire report in the click of a button.
However, I realized when I try opening the WB with a macro (Workbooks.Open DTF_TEMPLATE) , the WB opens but the autosave doesn't work, so I can't run the rest of my Macro. The AutoSave only works if I open it from the folder or if I create a link in a cell and open it from the link.
Is there a way to fix this so the macro can run in 1 step instead of 2.
Thanks.
