I need a macro that will find the last cell with data in column E and then put an average for the data in the cell below the last cell containing data. The problem is that every time I run a report in Excel, the number of rows containing data is different. Hope that makes sense. Any ideas?

Code:
Sub a()
    Dim LR As Long
    LR = Range("E" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
    Range("E" & LR + 1).Value = WorksheetFunction.Average(Range("E1:E" & LR))
End Sub
