Average hours per week

I'm trying to find a simpler/quicker way to obtain the average number of hours per week for employees.

My spreadsheet contains columns for Date, Employee Name, Employee Number and Hours.
 
Oh, shoot. You're absolutely right. When I used the Text to Column to convert them, all of the numbers show up.

I'll have to make a note to remember to do that in the future.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
