All,

I'm wondering if there is an excel formula that will give me an average of cells based on vlookup results (or is there a sumif, averageif, sum product function, etc.). For example I have a Daily data page and a weekly data page. I'm trying to convert the daily numbers into a weekly number by Agent. In Cell A5 is AgentX and I want to average the daily numbers (from the daily page in cells BK5:BQ5) to get a week's total (on the Weekly page) for AgentX. Clear as mud? Thanks so much for your help.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

Not totally clear, but,

=AVERAGE(IF(A5="X",BK5:BQ5))
