Average Start Time Help

Hi Thanks for help us out.
I am trying to figure out the average start time of our operation.
lets say in cell
B34 i have 11:35 pm
B39 i have 12:05 am
B44 i have 12:21 am
B49 i have 11:51 pm

my current formula is =average(B34,B39,B44,B49)
I am hopeing thee is something i haven't found to make this work for us.

with out entering month day and year each night, can i put an average start time together with this info? It comes back with 11:58 am, pretty sure thats wrong. I know i need to adjust my

I think you're assuming that 12:05 am comes after 11:35 pm, but Excel doesn't without the help of knowing the date. You'll have to add 1 to all times before noon and then average.
