Suppose your "requested" date is in cell A2 and your "resolved" is in cell C2 (as in your example). Then the days elapsed between the two dates will simply be =C2-A2.

Fill that formula down the the last row of data and then use an AVERAGE function to return the average.

Thank you. Also, suppose I want to deduct the weekends. example: Saturday and Sunday?
