averageing a large 536 number but ingore the Zero

I want to say =average(g2:g536) if the cell value not equal to 0.


How do i do this?

Try this:

=AVERAGE(IF(G2:G536<>0,G2:G536))

This must be confirmed with CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER rather than just Enter.

The simple way is:

=SUM(G2:G536)/COUNTIF(G2:G536,"<>0")

or you could try:

=Average(IF(G2:G536,G2:G536))

qand use CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER rather than just enter.
