I am currently using this formula to figure Year to Date YTD
=IF(B4="","",B4)

What can I change it to figure the average?

Excel Facts

What is in cell B4 and how does this give you a YTD?
What do you want to average? The average days, weeks, weekends, months between YTD?

B4 through B15 contain totals for each month.

Column C is the YTD column which needs to be changed to an average.
When you add a total for a new month it figures the average for the previous month and the current month.

=IF(B4="","",AVERAGE(B4:B15))

Ken:
With the formula
=IF(B4="","",AVERAGE(B4:B15))

So if you have Jan 10 it will list 10 for the avg, then if you have Feb 20
it will list 15 for the avg.

Can I just replace this formula with the YTD formula and it will work?

If it helps I can send the spread sheet via e-mail so you know what I am doing?
