Avoid Bad link

Hello,

I have created a button that automatically pulls together a few bits of information to create a working link. I have tested it and it works very well. One issue i cant seem to figure out, is how do i get it to avoid sending me back to "debug" if the link ends up being bad because the file being requested doesnt exist.

A bit of background:

I have a list of items that has a summary PDF associated with its unique ID code. When i click on the button, it automatically creates a link to the PDF using a defined file path and inserting the unique ID to open the specific PDF associated with the item. Some of these items however, do not have a PDF associated with them. As a result, when i click on the button, it creates the correct link, but cant open it because it doesn't exist and ends up sending me to the "debug" stage.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
