I'm using this code to copy and paste without actually copying and pasting:

VBA Code:
Worksheets("Calendar").Range("StartCell") = Worksheets("Template").Range("I5")

Works great but it only copies the cell value. Is it possible to also include the cell's formatting?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Any reason why you don't want to use copy paste ?

It's VERY slow when logging to my machine remotely. If my workbook is on my work pc and I log using Gotomypc all the macros that have many copy and paste routines run extremely slow. When I use the VB above it's just as fast as if I'm sitting in the office.

Show us your copy paste routines and maybe we have a solution for speeding them up.
You said you have many. Show us all of them.
