[b]Shared File & File Size[/b]

Can someone help with controlling the size of a shared file? I created a shared file which began at 1,423KB. After one month of users inputting data the file grew to 48,407KB. There are no macros and the data itself is not that large. Does it have something to with tracking changes?

Help!
