Background colors

I have a column with general numbers in it. How can I have a cell show a different background color like a red flag if the number is say greater than 130. :eek:

Hi and welcome to the board.

You can use the conditional formatting feature found under the format tab, then select the "cell value" ( ie >130, selecting the format feature of your choice,.... in this case select RED.

You could use confitional formatting?

Can you give more information?

If say you wanted to highlight values over 130 in column A.

1 Select column A

2 Goto Format>Conditional Formatting...

3 Select Greater than from the 2nd dropdown

4 Enter 130 and format as required
