I'm trying to produce a routine to help with Bank Reconciliation.

I need to be able to input a total and the routine should then show the values in a list that sum to that total (maybe by highlighting the cells). If there is more than one solution it needs to cycle through the possible combinations!

It seems that I need a hero as I'm out of my depth

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Hi Edwin

Welcome to the board

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve is it random combinations of numbers to SUM to a given result or is it looking to compare bank statements to your accounting books?

You may need to give a wee bit more info

There is a post on this at **** Kusleika's "Daily Dose of Excel" blog which also includes a file that finds such combinations
