Bar Graph: Data in Data Table without Appearing on Graph

I have a bar graph that shows data by month for the year. I have some data that I want to appear in the data table (below the graph), but I do NOT want it to show up on the graph itself. Is there a way to do this? I have two bars (out of four) that I want to get rid (but still appear in the data table). The only way I have figured out to make it happen is to turn the bar clear. But, it still leaves a space for those two bars and wastes space. There may not be a way to make this happen, but I'm remaining hopeful. Thanks!

P.S. I actually have these bar graphs in a powerpoint chart, but I believe it works the same way in excel. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Hi,

Data Tables in Excel are not very user friendly and don't do much in the way of formatting and therefore, don't get used much beyond the basics.

Can you put the chart In-Sheet in Excel and have a made up data table below it.

Then use the cameral tool to take/paste a picture link of the range that you want in the spreadsheet.

Hope this helps.
