Hi everyone,
I have seen another thread started by qpywsqp about a similar issue but just alittle different.
Scan barcode to excel with date & time stamp in & out.
I believe that post #37 is the closest answer to my problem
First off my version of excel is 2010
What I'm trying to do is scan a QR code to populate the first three columns(A-Item Number,B-Item,C-Description), manually enter a first and last name(D-First Name,E-Last Name), and input a date and time stamp into (F-Time Out). ----This will let me know that the item is signed out.
If the QR code is then scanned again it will then populate (G-Time In) with the date and time stamp.
-----This will let me know that the item is signed back in
All of this happens on the same row
Now the tricky part is that if the QR code was scanned again, it would populate a new row and repeat the process again.
As I mentioned, the macro from post #37 is the closest to my answer only instead of continuing to add columns I would like to add rows. Scan barcode to excel with date & time stamp in & out.
Any help would be appreciated
