 I'm not a major excel user as my problem will I'm sure highlight!.......

I have a problem with autofilter in it freezing up on me. i have a mass of information on 1 spreadsheet and only need to see part of it so i'm hiding a few columns, then autofiltering on row 1 with the headings. Form here i will filter on 1 or 2 columns to display only the info i need.

I've done this on other spreadsheets with no problem but one the one i'm working on now i go to 'un-filter' to get back to whole spreadsheet and the arrows are disabled leaving me with only filtered information.

This means i have to close without saving or be left with a fraction of my spreadsheet, and therefore lose any changes i've made.

Answers on a post card pls........

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Thanks for help. I think it may just be a bug on my PC as the same spreadsheet now just freezes when i filter even on just one thing.

Has anyone heard of not being able to 'un-filter' before?
