hi,

i have a question that may seem terribly rudimentary, but i do not use excel that often, so please bear with me.

i am attempting to do projections with a budget for an organization. to illustrate examples for 2006 budget, i want to take the 2005 budget, which is in an excel spreadsheet, and multiply every value by, say 15% (.15). is there a way to do this with one command, rather than each cell, column or row individually?

thanks for your help.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Good afternoon bilbreed

In an unused cell type in 1.15 (for adding 15% to an existing set of values). Right click and select copy.

Then select the range you wish to apply this to. Once set, right click in the range and select Paste Special. In the box that appears select multiply and click OK.
