Hi,

Sorry for such a basic set of questions, I normally can make Excel do the basic things I need, however I am struggling with what normally is very easy stuff.

If cell D6=8 and D8=0.7, under what circumstances would a formula in cell D9 (which is formated to be a number with two decimal places) of =D6*D8 show as 0?

If cell D3=1.00 why would the cell D11 show as 0 when it has the following formula? =IF(D3=0.5,0.5,1)

If cell D13=4 and cell D11=0, why would cell D14 show as 1.5 when the formula is =D13-D11

I have other similar issues but I am hoping they will be solved when the above issues get sorted.

Any help would be great. (I can send the excel spreadsheet as well but I can not see an attachement option? (but the why my day is going probably means I am looking past it))

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
