basic help needed again

hello all,
i have sheet that gets filled in daily with basic numbers, what i want to do is keep a running total on another sheet.
for instance:
sheet1 sheet2
a1 a2 a1 a2
100 50 100 50

i then want to delete the totals on sheet 1 but keep count on sheet 2 if that makes sense.
