hello all :)

Am i mistaken or is it not possible to change the font of a cel, containing an arab name, written in arab, to a more beautiful font?

i can change background, text color, bold, anything else is possible, but the font list stays untouchable...

what can i do?

all enjoy the start of the advent :) !

Hi Peter

You can't change the font family using conditional formatting regardless of which language is in use.

hello ;)

that is what i sadly expected... could i use a formula to change the font of a cell if there is arab text in it?
i have a column bm that tells me which script is used, one of them being arab...

vba is the only thing i know, but not possible here...

have a nice weekend !

I don't know if this helps, but by detecting the cell contains Arabic, will let you make changes by VBA
