Beginner formular question

I want cell B10 to show the total of:

(B2 X C2) + (B3 X C3) + (B4 X C4) + (B5 X C5) + (B6 X C6) + (B7 X C7) + (B8 X C8) =

What do I need to put in B10 for this to be calculates?

Try:

=SUMPRODUCT(B2:B8,C2:C8)

I am translating it from swedish so it might not be the same in English but I tyhink it just says:

Formula error

I did it the long way

=B2*C2
=B3*C3


and then added them all up.

In Swedish it is:

=PRODUKTSUMMA(B2:B8;C2:C8)
