I need to setup a Excel file for our users which will get some data from SQL server using a VBA code.
Just wanted to check whats the best way to secure the sql connection string information so the user does not have access to any of the content of connection string.
I am afraid that if we don't secure the connection string users may be able to figure out servername, username password etc.
