I have a date field. I want to put in code that fills it in when information in another field is changed/added. I know the code but was wondering what was the best even handler to use. Before Update, After Update, On Change....

Thanks

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi,

You will need to use the Private Sub Worksheet_Change() event ... :)

There is no such thing in Access (I am guessing that you weren't aware of the forum that you were in!).

I usually put in in the "AfterUpdate" event of the field being changed.

I would further guess that you were using the "Zero Reply Posts" listing. ;)
Many people fail to notice that the last column shows which formul that post is in (the listing includes ALL the forums, not just the "Excel Questions" one).

You weren't the first person to do that, and you won't be the last.
I may have even done it once or twice myslef!
