I have mostly picked up Excel VBA on my own learning specific principles as I needed them. It appears that I may now be doing more "serious" VBA programming for Excel, Word, and Access. I think it would be helpful if I had a really good reference manual. So I am looking for recommendations.

I don't need or want an introductory book. I am really looking for a reference manual and one with extensive examples of the principles they are trying to explain.

I'd really like one that I can access on my computer, rather than a physical book, such as with Kindle. Are there better digital book apps? Kindle is kinda primitive and clunky, imo.

Thanks for any suggestions...

The best pure VBA book I've ever read is the VBA Developers Handbook by Getz and Gilbert. There were a few copies available on Amazon last time I looked (paper copies were cheaper than the digital version, though that wasn't bad at about £30 IIRC) The O'Reilly VB & VBA in a Nutshell book is a good reference too.

For specific Office development, you'll probably want a different book for each app. Professional Excel Development is good for Excel (covers more than just VBA) and obviously Bill and Tracy's books are good. ;)

I haven't done Access dev work in years, but the Getz/Litwin/Gilbert Developers Handbook was good for that too.
