Hi there,

Very basic Excel question here - would be super grateful for any help.

I'm trying to monitor the prices of some paintings and my data (contained in a table) looks a bit like this:

Year Signed/Unsigned Price
2012 Unsigned 500
2012 Signed 750
2012 Signed 800
2013 Signed 700
2013 Unsigned 600
2013 Signed 900
2014 Unsigned 650

etc etc

I'd like to plot this as either a line chart or a scatter chart, but with a visual distinction for the signed v unsigned prices, i.e. a second axis.

I've got absolutely no idea how to do this though. Obviously I can do the chart fine without separating out the two, but I'm at a loss what the best way is to separate them.

What would be a good way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Peter

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
