Hi,

I have two workbooks, one in the field collecting data per month per day. The second one at home that may see tweaks in formulas and vba code.

What would be the best approach to make sure both are in sync. I bring number 1 home each day on usb.

I'm thinking just highlight new data range and copy values only and input to number 2 and copy down formulas which will take care of any changes. Any vba changes are captured as well. This then becomes the field day copy the next day.

Bottom line, I find tweaking anything not on a live copy is very hard to keep track of.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
