I am expriencing an issue with a spreadsheet where I have links to other worksheets that refrence forumla's from other sheets. The only time that the cells are updated on my main sheet is if I open the corresponding sheet that the data is being pulled from and only then do the correct vaules update in the main workbook.

Pleae I need some help and suggestions... I have looked at the Forumla's caculation options in excel and under the advanced tab as well

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Does the formula contain INDIRECT or ADDRESS?

I believe if you use INDIRECT and/or ADDRESS and link to another book, you always have to open the other workbook in order for the formula values to update. There is not a way around this issue, unless you want to change your formula to not link or possibly there is VBA soluion.
