Hey, I just wanted to take a moment to give a big shout out to everyone here on the forum.

I really appreciate your time and assistance throughout the 1+ years that I have been on the forum.

The amount of support and quick responses, not to mention clear and concise responses, has been so refreshing and very much cherished.

My knowledge and understanding of VBA, excel functions, has increased by magnitudes due to everyone's help and patience.

I sincerely and honestly thank you.

I look forward to a day when I will have sufficient understanding to start contributing back to the community that has helped me so much.

I echo these thoughts.

I graduated from uni many many years back and had a decent grasp of Excel/VBA, except I never touched it once I graduated. Now I am getting back into it and my knowledge seems to have almost disappeared. Looking at some of my old assignments seems like I'm reading a foreign language. I wrote it yet I have no idea what any of it means.

Anyway I digress. This place is fast helping me get back up to speed and I too would love to be in a position where I'm mostly answering questions rather than being the one asking them. Hopefully that day comes sooner rather than later.

Excel keyboard shortcuts
A nearly complete Microsoft list, from thisoldman:
This has some that aren't listed on the MS page:
And this one:
Microsoft changed some shortcuts between 2003 and 2007 versions and they continue to change them.
Menu shortcuts, get changed too.
If you have a newer version of Excel, type Alt+d and a message will pop up: "Continue typing the menu key sequence ..."
My favorite little known key sequences are the context menu shortcuts.
If you're on Windows with a keyboard that has a menu key, copy a range of cells, then select a destination.
Press the menu key (between Rt-Alt and Rt-Ctrl) then press V to paste values only, or R to paste formats only, or T to transpose+paste.

for those who suffer from pain while typing/using mouse - using excel with voice
I had a few questions answered in this forum that helped me a great deal in working with Microsoft Excel, despite my disability.
So I thought I would share my knowledge which may help people who are having any kind of disability or pain while working on a computer. (for example, people with carpal tunnel or temporary injuries like hand fractures etc)
Dragon NaturallySpeaking is a popular program that allows a user to use voice to operate the computer. However, for some reason, the commands that are used to operate Excel and not explained very well. So I found this resource and it has helped me to work with Excel hands-free almost 70 to 80% of the time. Hopefully, I will learn it well enough to work hands-free completely. is the page and there are other tutorials also Microsoft Excel.
Hope it is of some use to members here.
