:eek: I have a report that has everyother line blank. I want to delete the blank ones. I attempted to filter it and deselect "blank" but it dosen't work. Any ideas on how I can achieve this? :eek: :confused:

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
This oneliner macro may do it for you:

Code:
Sub DeleteBlanks()

Range("A:A").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).EntireRow.Delete xlShiftUp

End Sub

Had the same problem until I found this useful tip from ExcelIsFun on YouTube.

Select all data in one of the columns.
Press F5 (Go To)
Click "Special.." and choose "Blanks" from the options.

This will select all blank cells in the selected data range.

Finally right click one of the highlighted cells and choose "Delete..." and then "Entire row"
