Hello,

I am having some trouble with my top down list in Excel 2010.

Let me explain my situation. I have a table that is 30 rows long, but sometimes I only use 20 rows. But in the future there can be more in use. So I wan't all the 30 rows in my data validation. The problem is, that I get blank cells in my validation list.

How can I get only values in my validation list?

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
When building your data validation list you should see an option that says ignor blanks.

Yes I see that myself when the list is in a Table. Maybe someone else here at Mr. Excel will have an answer. This is beyond my Knowledgebase.
