Blinking reminder cells

Is it possible to set a cell to begin blinking on a specific date, or at all? I keep my business "ABC list' (my priority to do list) on excel which is fairly complex and stretches down 40-50 rows. I wish that I could have a cell begin to blink its text or even have it blink in a highlighted color to remind me to do something down the road.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

Welcome to the MrExcel forum!

I would hate blinking cells and have never used them, preferring standard Conditional Formatting instead. A brightly coloured (non-blinking) cell would be enough to attract my attention.

However, if you want to investigate further, you could see if there is anything of use here.
