Block cells

I have a excel sheet with colours in column A 1= black, 2= Brown, 3= Yellow etc. Top row is size B= 0, C=1, D=2 etc. What I want to know is this: If a person puts his name in column b2, how can he block that cell so nobody else can book that cell? This excel file is on my website, so people must first access the website.

It would be easier to help if you could use the XL2BB add-in (icon in the menu) to attach a screenshot (not a picture) of your sheet. Alternately, you could upload a copy of your file to a free site such as www.box.com or www.dropbox.com. Once you do that, mark it for 'Sharing' and you will be given a link to the file that you can post here. Explain in detail what you want to do referring to specific cells, rows, columns and sheets using a few examples from your data (de-sensitized if necessary).

Thank you, Actually all I want to know is, is it possible for different users of the same excel sheet, to each block his own cell in the sheet, and how?
