Hello. I have created a form to ask for the password when the excel file is started. Until now, it worked perfectly with Office 2016, but when I switched to Office 2019, sometimes the sheet appears, and, therefore, its content, which I don't want to be seen, and sometimes not. You can see what it does in the attached image.

I don't know why sometimes he does it well and other times he doesn't. I also don't know if there is a possibility to blur the background using VBA.

I also enclose the Excel so that you can work with it. The password is 1234.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
zelarra,

Low key option could you add in a blank sheet to default to when the workbook is opened? On save or closing a macro could run selecting this sheet so it is the default for next time the workbook is opened.

Once the password is entered user can navigate to the required sheet.

OK thank you. I had thought about that solution, but I wanted to know if there was another possibility or I was doing it wrong, so I shared the file, but seeing that I did not get a response, and since it needed space, I deleted it.

Hi zelarra,

maybe activate the last cell at the bottom right of the worksheet before asking for the password and going to the data range if it was succeefull otherwise switch to another sheet or close the workbook?

Ciao,
Holger
