Dear Mr. Excel,

Hope this mail finds you in good health.

I have a question, and would appreciate it if you could answer it ASAP.
Ex: I have a bonus pool of 150,000 to be distributed among 5 employees on criteria of grade, department, annual evaluation and their date of joining (pro rata).

Thanks for your interest.

The calculation should purely be based on the grade, department, evaluation & date of joining. We don't have any specific limit for any employee. The pool of 150,000 should be divided among the employees based on the mentioned criteria.

It sounds like you maybe have 2 separate challenges here.
1) Define the bonus policy for this group of employees. I can't help you with that. If you don't know your bonus policy, I suggest you speak with someone in your organisation who DOES know the policy. OR, if you don't have a policy, work one out for yourself.
2) Develop an Excel solution to calculate the bonus, based on your organisation's bonus policy.

Once you've done (1), I and other people on this board can probably help you with (2).
