Books to Read to learn VBA

One of my friend referred me to this site as i love doing Excel. I also want to be a expert in Excel and VBA. can you guys refer me some books / guidance so that i also can be a expert in Excel and VBA

Hi,

More advanced people on this forum would suggest that the best way of learning VBA, is to answer some of the questions on this blog. However a good foundation of knowledge makes life a little easier. I would suggest "Excel VBA Programming for Dummies", by J Walkenbach.

Also, some general reading would be Hikers list here- Recommendations for VBA learning

I found VBA hard to learn as it is not very forgiving if you get something wrong. Toggling thru a code that does not work can be frustrating, given some of the error codes are vague. Start very basic (eg change a value in a cell) and work your way up.
