Is there a way of having a broken scale in a chart?

I have values to plot by financial year as follows:
year 1 - 2500
year 2 - 468
year 3 - 395
year 4 - 371
year 5 - 380

The drop from year 1 to 2 is so steep it makes the gradient from year 2 to year 5 as near horizontal as makes no difference, but I want to show some sort of actual slope. By hand I would draw a broken scale starting, say, 2600 down to 2300, then a couple of lines across the scale to signify the break, then restart the scale (using the same proportions as the top part so I'm obviously not trying to cheat) from, say, 500 down to 300. Is there any way to do this, or an equivalent, in an Excel chart?

Thanks
Chris

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Thanks Andrew. Looks really good :)
I'll experiment.

Out of interest, do you know if it's possible to have a line chart rather than a bar chart? I'll experiment with trying to add a line for the values, but I thought it worth a quick ask.

Regards,
Chris
