Broken VLOOKUP hyperlinks

Hi all.

I was wonderiing if someone might be able to help with this issue please?

I have formulas in my spreadsheet (see example below), that pull a link from another worksheet. I thought these were working, as they display correctly, but if you try and click the link it doesn't work.

=IFERROR(HYPERLINK(VLOOKUP(A4,'Miscellaneous Data - P & C p'!$B$3:$R$5002,17,FALSE)),"")

Am I missing something from my formula?

The error I get is in the image.

I have a copy of the file in the google drive link, below:

parkrun - My parkrun Record (Oliver Hughes - A132324) WORKING.xlsx

drive.google.com

It takes a few seconds to open, as quite large. Thanks.

Try concatenating "http://" to the start of the link.

 

[Fluff]

On the dump sheet use the full url like
https://www.parkrun.org.uk/newport


& set the formula to look at that sheet
=IFERROR(HYPERLINK(INDEX('parkrun Reader Dump'!$M$3:$M$5002,MATCH(C3,'parkrun Reader Dump'!$B$3:$B$5002,0))),"")

Try concatenating "http://" to the start of the link.

I've been fighting this same issue for the last 4 hours pulling out my hair and all I needed was the http:// to be added. You're a life saver Rory
