Hi all

Is it possible to create a browser URI to open a excel workbook at a specific cell?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the quick response: That link will work if linking from an excel book. My question was relating to working from a web browser.
To use your example, If i entered C:\Users\Andrew\Desktop\Book1.xls in the browser address I would be prompted to open the excel book. Can you pass the range address through to open the book at the given cell, in this case Sheet2!D10.

Hope that makes sense

Thanks in advance
