Hello,

I'm hoping that someone may be able to help me out with a solution to a bubble chart dilemma.

I have four columns of data in my bubble chart

Name Age Height Weight
Joe 32 60 139
Sal 27 66 177
Dan 22 64 180

I can get it to chart out the Age (x axis), Height (y axis) and weight (bubble size) just fine.

Now all I want it to do is in the legend, label the light blue colored bubble “Joe” and the next one “Sal” and the next one “Dan”.

Is this possible? I don’t know VB, so hopefully a simple solution, and one I’m just not thinking of.

Thanks in advance!
christine.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Add each row as a separate series, and it'll do that automatically.

Ha ha, thanks. It's only easy when you know the answer. I once spent weeks trying to get Excel to do this, and then one day I accidentally added series separately, and hey presto it did exactly what I wanted.
