Evening,

I would like to create a 4 quadrant bubble chart that has two factors that contribute to the size and location of the bubble. The first factor being ease of implementation and the second being the size of the prize. As the ease of implementation increases I would like for for the bubble to move upwards to Q2 and as the size of the price gets bigger i would like the bubble to relocate to Q1. Can some please advise how this can be done. Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Your request is unclear.

You have 3 different factors in a bubble chart:
1) X-dimension
2) Y-dimension
3) Bubble Size

And if you have more than one series, you get a 4th dimension:
4) Color

You are giving us two dimensions:
1) Ease of Implementation
2) Size of Prize

We know you want to tie 1) to the Y-axis and 2) to tie to the X-axis, but what changes the size of the bubbles? Wouldn't an X-Y scatter chart work just as well (that only has X and Y dimensions)?

Furthermore, we have no idea how you want your bubbles to change/move based on the information you gave. If you make the Y-axis value higher, it will move up the chart. If you make the X-axis value higher, it will move right on the chart. That's just how things work.

If that doesn't answer your question, then I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to do.
