Bubble charts

Hello - I am trying to construct a bubble chart but not finding this feature of XL very user-friendly!
Can anyone help with the 2 problems I have:
1. I am plotting 50 bits of data and the bubbles are coming out too big so that they all overlap. How do I scale them all down?
2. I also want to attach a name to each bubble anc cant work out how I do that. If I include the column with all the names in the data range, the whole bubble chart gets messed up....

for 1. I'd recommend having a look at this:

as for 2. I'm not sure why including the item names is not working for you. Without seeing it, it's hard to guess.

Maybe I can explain problem 2 a little better.
I want to give a name to each bubble but am not sure how to do that.
I've tried putting a name in the column next to the 3 data series but have not been able to get that to work

With the names in a column use a program like Rob Bovey's XY Chartlabeler (www.appspro.com) or John Walkenbach's Chart Tools (www.j-walk.com) to add that column as the datalabels.
