Hello everyone! Got a quick Excel question here.

I've been trying to create an Excel validation list that looks like this.

The above image was taken from Microsoft Access.

What I am trying to accomplish is that within the validation list box, the first column contains the data/index (A001, A002, A003, etc.), followed by the second column with description (Data1, Data2, Data3, etc.). Upon selection, only data from the first row is to be displayed in the cell, like in the attached image's case, A004.

So far, I've only successfully built a list containing the first row only.

Would it be possible to build such a 2 or more column validation list in Excel to start with? If yes, how would I go about accomplishing it?

Much thanks.
