busted equation

i am trying to use the following equation

ActiveCell.Formula = "=Vlookup(3,CAdetails,2)& Proper(JOB INPUT!D36) & If(JOB INPUT!E36=0,,UPPER(JOB INPUT!E36))& vlookup(4,CAdetails,2) & PROPER(TEXT(JOB INPUT!C35))& VLOOKUP(4,CAdetails,2) & VLOOKUP(5,CAdetails,2)"


it keep coming up with object-orientated error or application error


could anyone explain if it's something to do with the code or something else

Remove the TEXT part, or add the missing 2nd argument for it.

at the end of your vlookup you need to put ",0" (Vlookup(3,CAdetails,2,0))

at the end of your vlookup you need to put ",0" (Vlookup(3,CAdetails,2,0))

...if you want an exact match. Ommit (as you have) to find approximate match if looking up value in a sorted list.
