I have a worksheet with 3 buttons on it. They were added using the controls toolbox in excel 2003. I have no issues on my computer however, when trying to view the workbook on a laptop, one button was missing and the other two had the red x...like a web page that was missing an image.

The laptop is running xp and the same version of excel, is this a grafics issue or something else? I've not seen any issues on the 4 desktops I've worked with.

I tried to open another workbook that has a sheet with alot of textboxes and comboboxes. They were ALL missing!

We are about ready to distribute the workbook throughout the plant and I'm concerned.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
I believe you could be dealing with a resource shortage. Try deleting Windows Temporary Files, and Internet Temporary Files, then empty your recycle bin and change your hardware acceleration to one click to the right of "None." Shutdown, then reapply power and cross your fingers. No guarantees here, but if it works elsewhere, then the problem is likely solveable in this manner. HTH Larry.

Thanks indiantrix!

I will look into that. I should also mention that my userforms and all controls within them are fine. Only the controls in the sheet don't show.

Thanks again,
Brian
