Hi,

I am adding buttons to my spreadsheet and assigning macros to them. Is it possible to change the colour of the button?

I can not seem to find any way of doing this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ben

If your button is from the controls toolbox, one of the properties is "Back Colour". Change the colour there.

What sort of button is it - a "Forms" button or a "Command" button?

Thanks for the Response Steve.

However I seem to be being really stupid because I can not see where I go to change this I have tried right clicking and going to format but their is no option for back colour.

Can anyone tell me how to do this.

Cheers

Ben

I'm pretty sure you can't easily change the backcolour of a Forms button, as it's controlled by the Windows properties (I think).

My only suggestion is to use a Command button from the Controls toolbox instead, and to get the code into it, right-click it select "View Code" then paste the original code into the Commandbutton_click holder there.

For the colour, right click the button and select properties / backcolor.
