Hi

I regularly format cells for numbers as follows, by selecting the cutom option within Format Cells

#,##0;[Red](#,##0);"-"

Is there a way I can add this to a button? I guess via a macro??

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Try with a button from the Controls toolbar

Selection.NumberFormat = "#,##0;[Red](#,##0);" & Chr(34) & "-" & Chr(34)
End Sub

Select the range then click the button to apply the formatting.
