I am new with excel and have been reading on several websites in hope to find help with my trouble.

I have several spreadsheet tabs across the bottom of my one workbook. I want to have a list of buttons on the main spreadhsheet (you will see when you open the excel file) that depending on which one you click on will go to that corresponding spreadsheet tab (without having to scroll across all the tabs at the bottom and manually select). I have several tabs and wanted a user friendly main list to select from once the excel file is first opened up.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
No need for buttons, just use a hyperlink.

Go to Insert, Hyperlink, and choose the "Place in this document" button.

Should be pretty clear from there!

As ChrisM has said put a name of all your tabs at the top of the page.
You then can assign a hyperlink to each one.

Hi,
Once your excel file is opened, just right click on the arrows on left side of your sheet tab. It will show a list of your workshhets in that workbook and you can choose from it.
