Button to Hide/Unhide some rows in a sheet

hi,

im looking to add a button on sheet named 'summary'. Once clicked, it will hide rows 12-18 in the sheet. If the rows are already hidden, click of the same button will unhide the same rows.

one issue im facing is that when the sheet is protected, it doesn"t work! any idea how this could be fixed?

You will need to unprotect the sheet & the start & reprotect it at the end.

Sub skf()
   With activeshet
      .Unprotect "abc"
      .Rows("12:18").Hidden = Not .Rows("12:18").Hidden
      .Protect "abc"
   End With
End Sub

Change password abc to suit
